Driveway Skill Development

Player/Driveway Skill Development Training in Oakville, ON

When it comes to playing basketball, OBC offers driveway skill development training in Oakville, ON. Sports provide kids with an excellent opportunity to learn about teamwork and develop essential social skills, which is why we believe our program is great for helping kids achieve their maximum athletic capacity. With interactive drills, challenges, and exercises, athletes are encouraged to work hard to achieve their individual goals.
Our staff is passionate, skilled, and knowledgeable about basketball and are a valuable source to help elevate their competitive skill. We offer after-school programs so kids have a place to practice their skills while parents are at work. It is also a great place to bond with teammates and work together, so the next game is more intuitive and streamlined.

Learning Maneuvers

Running through drills and skirmishes will help your child understand how the opposing teams play and how to interact with your team to win. We focus on the following learning points:
  • Moving and Setting Up Proper Spacing to Create Scoring Opportunities
  • Passing Skills and Reducing Turnovers
  • Shooting the Ball Effectively Against Any Defender
  • Learning How to Play the Game, Not Just Run a Play
Our coaches come to your home court to provide 1-on-1/small group, socially distanced training. The low coach-to-player ratio allows us to give players individual focus to hone their current skills and add more dimensions to their game. In this setting, players will be doing a one-hour training session at a high intensity.

The Training Session Will Include:

  • Basketball-Specific Drills:
  • Ball Handling
  • Shooting
  • Footwork
  • Passing
  • Layups
  • Etc.
  • General Strength Exercises
  • Fitness Exercises
Our driveway skill development training is designed for players 10 years old and up (exceptions may be made for younger players who are intermediate to advanced level). The program will give the personal trainer interaction and attention necessary to effect change in different elements of each player’s game.

Cost:

  • 3x1 One-Hour Session: $270
  • 5x1 One-Hour Session: $400
